Fernando Cervero

Professor of Physiology and Neurology

Fernando performed as director of the Alan Edwards Center for Research on Pain at McGill Uni-versity in Montreal from 2009 to 2015.

He was a professor of anesthesiology and dentistry and an adjunct professor of physiology and neurology at McGill University in Montreal from 2002 to 2015.

From 1994 to 2002, he also fulfilled the role of professor and chair of physiology at the Universidad de Alcalá in Madrid.

Besides, he performed as professor of physiology at the Univer-sity of Bristol from 1983 to 1991, visiting professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 1990 to 1991, and lecturer in physiology and researcher at the University of Edin-burgh from 1975 to 1983.
He is the author of more than 200 publications in journals and books, and he has won numerous awards and recognitions during his career.
