Three intensive days together with Julie Fendall DO MOstSc(Paeds) to explore osteopathic principles in relation to the care, cure and treatment of women in the postpartum period.
The course is structured in three distinct stages to offer a complete training experience.
1. Theoretical and Practical Sessions
During the first day and a half of training, we will explore in depth how to assess and treat the typical problems of the post-partum woman from an osteopathic perspective. Specific technical approaches will be proposed through interactive theoretical sessions interspersed with practical exercises, allowing participants to put their acquired knowledge into practice.
2. Clinical Tutorial
Half a day will be dedicated to osteopathic treatments led by Julie Fendall who will treat some patients in the classroom. This time will be valuable to gain a practical understanding of how to approach, assess and treat patients with postpartum issues, providing a clear and detailed overview of best clinical practice.
3. Clinical Practice
On the last day, learners will be divided into small groups and will have the opportunity to put their skills into practice by evaluating and treating real clinical cases. This time will be guided and supervised directly by Dr Fendall and her assistants, providing a hands-on learning experience and allowing participants to consolidate their skills under the guidance of experts in this field.
